3 Essential Computer Shortcuts

Many people look for quick and shortcut ways to work on the computer. For this, they use shortcut keys in combination with the keyboard and mouse. For example, Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V, etc. These seem to be known to many. Again, I will share these 3 things that are new to many.

3 shortcut methods:

How to restore a closed tab:

We visit different websites through different browsers to use the internet. Many times, it is seen that while visiting a very important website, the tab is accidentally closed. Then, to go back to this address, we have to go to the history and find the link, which is quite time-consuming. This kind of problem will be solved by simply pressing ‘Control’ and “Shift” on the keyboard and pressing “T”, the tab of the previously browsed website will open.

Taking a screenshot:

While working on the computer, there is a need to take screenshots for various purposes. Screenshots can be taken manually in different ways on the computer, which is a bit time-consuming. Many people use different types of software to take quick screenshots. But if you are using Windows, you can take screenshots from your computer very easily and quickly without any software. For this, click on your Start menu and select “Snipping Tool” – or type Snipping Tool in the search box and click on it. Then the software will start, and from there you can take a screenshot of the required part.

Using the mouse:

Ordinary users use the left or right mouse button. In addition, there is a wheel-like button in the middle of the mouse for scrolling. These are the three ways in which the mouse is used.

While browsing a website, if you want to open a new tab by clicking on a link, you have to right-click on the mouse and click on the ‘Open New Tab’ option.
However, this can also be done easily by clicking the middle mouse button. You can also close any tab by clicking on it.

This beautiful Android wallpaper from Google will tell you some essential information

Google doesn’t always provide all of its apps as built-in apps on Android phones. For example, think about the Google Messenger app; even though it’s very popular, it wasn’t built in until Android 6.0.

Without further ado, let’s get to the main point. Its customization options are very limited. The color and size of the wallpaper must be used exactly as given.

The benefits available in this app are:

1. This is the battery meter. The large circle will show 100% charge, the small circle will show how much charge is left, and the bottom will show how much charge is left in text form.

2. This is the Wi-Fi/Cell signal meter. The more filled the triangle is, the stronger the signal. You can move using the sensor.

3. This is the notification wallpaper. Each rectangle represents a notification.

Common problems with Microsoft Office

Many times, when trying to open a file created in Microsoft Office Word or Excel, the message There was a problem sending the command to the program appears, and the file does not open. If this happens, you have to face a lot of trouble. Using the Dynamic Data Exchange communication protocol, Windows opens its source and target programs as separate file types. If the file is running in the background, the DDE command sometimes prevents unnecessary files from being opened. Again, such a problem occurs when a command is interrupted while opening an office application between Windows and DDES.

Microsoft Office

Launch the Microsoft Office Excel program. Click on the Office ORB icon or the FILE menu on the ribbon and click on Options. When the Excel Options window opens, click on the Advanced tab from the left menu. Scroll down here and check the box next to Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) in the General section and click OK. If it comes out, there will be no more problems when opening Excel files in the future.
If the previous method does not work, right-click on any Office file and click on the Open with option, and click the Browse button for Windows 7 or earlier. For Windows 8 or later, click on More Options and click on the Look for another app on this PC option. Now go to the C:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office folder. Now select the Excel.exe file for the Excel file with the .xlsx extension. Select the winword.exe file for the Word file with the .docx extension. Now, check the box next to Always use this application for this file type and click OK to open the file without any problems.
Repairing the Microsoft Office Suite can fix this problem. For this, go to the Control Panel and click on the Programs and Features icon. Click on Microsoft Office and click on the Change button. Now select the option on the Repair button and click on the Continue button. The office will be repaired and all the problems will be solved.
